Hello Cherry Nation!! I am alive, despite what the media would have you believe. I'm very disappointed with how little I've done and how little progress I've made with art but I watched Dandadan and now I'm filled with a new found motivation and understanding of what I want out of my art moving forward. I have a lot to cover so let's gooooo!
In a previous blog post I mentioned that I am working on a webcomic that I had planned to start this year and I am still working on that, don't you worry. However, it will not be happening this year anymore. There's still a lot I need to figure out with it and I am unsure about the logistics of working on it while I am doing school but it will happen sooner rather than later and I am very excited to share it! I'm hoping Newgrounds' webcomic portal will be up and running by the time I start but if not, I'm still tossing around ideas on where to host it.
Next up, Those of you who've been using Twitter may be aware that a lot of artists have been making the jump over to Bluesky and I am one of those people as they are a much better platform for artists! The link to my Bluesky can be found on my profile! Not abandoning my Twitter so don't worry, just trying out my options haha! Overall I have been wanting to push my socials more and start getting a following so I can set up a foundation for finding work and making friends! I'd GREATLY appreciate a follow on my Bluesky and Twitter pages (and my Instagram when I get that set up). Someday I'll be a household name and I can thank each and everyone one of you for it <3
To wrap stuff up with some rapid fire announcements, I am hoping to launch a Discord server! I will also be launching a Patreon in the future! If you're willing and able, you can send some cash my way and I'll give you all sorts of goodies like early access to webcomic pages! Sometime soon I'd like to dip my toes into livestreaming! I'll be playing some of my favorite games, drawing webcomic pages, and taking stream requests! Finally, I've been toying around with the idea of commissions in the future and am doing research into how I wanna handle them! More on all of these things in the future.
